Hyderabad: The US government will host a reception for its GES co-host, India and the host city, Hyderabad on Thursday.
Ambassador Mr Mark Green (retired) and administrator US Agency for International Development will represent the U.S side. Attending the farewell dinner from the Indian side will be Union minister for industry and commerce and Indian business delegates.
Source informed that TS Chief Minister Mr K. Chandrasekhar Rao will give it a miss, but IT minister K.T. Rama Rao and some top TS department officials will attend.
The event is being hosted at the Novotel - lawn Hitec City for 1,000 plus delegates. A team of chefs headed by Ms Rohini Dey, who runs a chain of restaurants in Chicago and other cities in the US is looking after spread. Ms Dey was a panelist for the GES discussion on ‘We mean Business.’
