Hyderabad: Katherine B. Hadda, the US Consul-General in Hyderabad, Dr Sunil Khaparde, the Deputy Director General (TB) of the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, and other officers from the Governments of India and Telangana will visit the Chest Hospital in Erragadda on Thursday to understand the Tuberculosis Control Program.
The U.S. has taken a keen interest in the program as it wants strong and effective steps to be taken for the control of the disease. Members of the team from the U.S. will also interact with TB survivors.
