N Chandrababu Naidu gears up for capital development
N. Chandrababu Naidu, is gearing up for the development of Amaravati, as 2018 is the last year of the present ruling government.

Vijayawada: The Chief Minister, N. Chandrababu Naidu, is gearing up for the development of Amaravati, as 2018 is the last year of the present ruling government. SRM, VIT universities have started and 14 medical colleges with hospital facilities are going to start in Amaravati in the year 2018. Star Hotels are also going to start their construction in Amaravati.
Housing for ministers, IAS, IPS, Gazetted and Non-Gazetted officers are also under construction. These will be completed before the elections. Mr Naidu wants to show at least 25 per cent of the capital picture to the people, so that in the coming elections he can have a chance to tilt the voters towards him, to get the balance 75 per cent of the efficient capital city.
Recently, SRM University and now VIT University have started classes for the first batch in Amaravati. In the opening function of VIT, Mr Naidu announced that 14 Medial Colleges with Hospital facilities will start within a year. A total of 1,236 acres have been allocated to 43 companies or institutions. 17 out of 43, are private companies or institutions with the rest all public sector or governmental institutions.
