No environment nod yet for Bengaluru steel flyover: Union Minister Anil Madhav Dave

The Minister disclosed this while answering to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Monday.

New Delhi: Union Minister of Environment, Forest and Climate Change Anil Madhav Dave has said that “the, environmental clearance by the Karnataka Government for the Steel Flyover from Basaveshwara Circle to Hebbal has not been provided. The State Environment Impact Assessment Authority Karnataka has not provided any clearance on the matter.” The Minister disclosed this while answering to a question in the Rajya Sabha on Monday.

At the same session, Union Minister for Road Transport & Highways Mansukh L Mandavivya said, “The BDA and the Karnataka government have not sought any clearance for the extension and alignment of the proposed steel flyover in Bengaluru involving national Highway 4, whose permission is required for State Projects passing through the right of way of national Highways entrusted with the National Highways Authority of India.”
