Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has taken up issues of not having adequate medical facilities in the villages of Telangana and AP and not taking up road expansion in the Hyderabad city to avoid traffic congestion as separate PILs.
Mr Rapolu Bhaskar an advocate had written two separate letters to the Chief Justice of the High Court seeking to intervene into the matters and issue directions to the authorities concerned. In one letter he brought to the notice of the Chief Justice that the villagers in both states have no option except approaching the RMP doctors who are not qualifiedfor treating patients.
He submitted that due to lack of knowledge in medical treatment and most of them having not undergone any training, they are prescribing strong antibiotics with high-dose pain killers for instant relief, resulting in failure of kidneys lungs and heart of the patients, leading to death. He urged court to direct the authorities to provide adequate medical facilities hospitals and Doctors in the villages of both states.
In another letter, the advocate submitted that the people in Hyderabad city were facing heavy inconvenience due to increase of traffic and the state government was not taking any steps to widen the roads. Due to traffic congestion, almost half a day is wasted while traveling from one place to another place, he wrote.
He brought to the notice of the Chief Justice that no efforts were being made to build foot over bridges to cross the roads despite pedestrians find it difficult to cross the roads Most of the public are doing shopping in the commercial areas and parking their vehicles on the roads Trucks and lorries are also parked on the roads during nights for loading and unloading the goods causing obstruction for free flow of traffic and accidents are causing due to violation of traffic rules by the people.
