VIJAYAWADA: Vijayawada has become the first division of South Central Railway (SCR) to launch online employee ID card services for its employees.
Vijayawada divisional railway manager (DRM) Narendra A. Patil started the online ID services at a function held here on Friday. Patil underlined that the online card services have been designed in-house by the IT cell of the Vijayawada division.
To receive their cards, employees must go to the website http://www.bzaid.com/ and log in with their PF number. They must submit their photo, signature and other particulars.
The personnel department will verify these details and allow the employee to download the ID card online.
The DRM complimented the division’s IT cell and personnel department for launching the user-friendly application, which would benefit the employees. He commended the IT cell for launching several other digital applications and making work paperless in various railway projects.
