Hyderabad HC seeks govt explanation on counselling
This time they conducted the test after the intervention of the court but were not holding the counselling.
Hyderabad: The Hyderabad High Court has directed the education principal secretary, the chairman of the Language Pandit Common Entrance Test and director of school education to explain by Monday why the government was not conducting counselling for admissions into various language pandit institutions for 2018-19.
Justice A. Rajasheker Reddy was dealing with a petition by Mr S. Balaraju and four others challenging the inaction of the authorities in conducting the counselling though the test was held on May 16 and results announced on June 3. They told the court that the authorities had not conducted the LPCET for two academic years.
This time they conducted the test after the intervention of the court but were not holding the counselling.
