Deputy CM KE Krishna Murthy offers prayers at Srisailam temple
The government plans to develop Srisailam temple as Tirumala temple, the minister stated.
Kurnool: The Deputy Chief Minister of Andhra Pradesh K.E. Krishna Murthy offered silk clothes to Lord Mallikarjunaswamy and Goddess Sri Brahmarambha Devi in Srisailam on Friday on behalf of the state government on the occasion of Dasara festival.
Earlier, the temple authourities led by executive officer N. Barath Gupta welcomed the minister with full temple honours in a traditional manner.
Later the Deputy CM along with family members offered special prayers to God and Goddess. The government plans to develop Srisailam temple as Tirumala temple, the minister stated.
On Saturday Dasami, grand finale of Dasara would be held with spectacular Chariott ride or Rathotsavam to Swami Ammavarlu, the temple EO said.
