Hyderabad: A 41-year-old mentally ill person committed suicide by silting his throat at his flat in KPHB in the wee hours of Friday.
Police said Seela Vivek Rao suffered from memory loss a year ago and was working for Tech Mahindra before he met with an accident. Around 5 am, Mallikarjuna, his father woke up and noticed Vivek bleeding profusely.
“He had slit his throat with a knife and committed suicide. His parents said that he was mentally ill,” said the police.
The body was handed over to the family after a post mortem.
