Kurnool: In a bizarre incident, a man bit the penis of his friend during a fight because the latter did not return a loan of Rs 100. The incident occurred in Joladarshi near Koilkuntla. The victim Vode Venkateswarlu was admitted to the Nandyal hospital for treatment.
The police said Venka-teswarlu and Vodde Venkata Subbaiah, both residents of Joladarasi village, were good friends. Venkateswarlu had taken a loan from Subbaiah and despite requests to repay it, had not done so.
On Thursday, the two met as usual and spoke for some time. Subbaiah again asked for the money to be repaid and when Venkateswarlu did not respond, he became furious and the two started a fight.
Subbaiah, who was in an inebriated state, could not control himself and fell to the ground. Taking advantage of this, Venkateswarlu sat on Subbaiah’s chest and began thrashing him on his groin. He then bit off the Subbaiah’s penis.
Onlookers rushed Subbaiah to hospital. A doctor at Nandyal hospital said that the patient’s injury was severe. However, he said, the patient is out of danger.
