TD confusing people on SCS, say netizens
Vijayawada: There is widespread criticism in social media about Jana Sena chief Pawan Kalyan's sudden interest on special category status to AP.
Several netizens have even posed questions to actor-turned-politician as to how he could motivate the public within a short time. Political parties expressed doubts on Mr Kalyan's thought process.
Meanwhile, Mr Pawan's remarks on MPs evoked mixed response from the Parliamentarians of TD. While MPs of Bheemili and Anantapur Avanti Srinivas and JC Diwakar Reddy lambasted the Janasena chief’s remarks, Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas has welcomed them.
Pointing out to the mixed reaction from the MPs, netizens ín the Facebook posts and tweets, said the TD was trying to create confusion among people.
"The TD wants to create confusion among public by allowing their MPs make different statements on the Janasena chief's remarks," said Y.J. Kamesh, in his Facebook post. Several netizens too expressed a similar opinion about TD's strategy.
"It is nothing but the political strategy of TD chief N. Chandrababu Naidu as he doesn't want to allow YSRC president Jaganmohan Reddy to gain mileage of the situation that emerged after Modi's government denying special status to the state," opined Potluri Ramarao, an NRI, in his FB post.
People also expressed doubts over the arrangements for Mr Pawan's meeting at Tirupati on a war-footing.
"The Janasena chief came for darshan at Tirumala and overnight took a decision to convene a meeting at Tirupati, and like in a movie, all arrangements were made in well-planned manner," tweeted Jampala Sumith Krishna. Majority of the YSRC leaders also are of the opinion that the Tirupati meeting was held at the behest of TD.
