Police raided the doctor's house in a posh area in Raipur city on Sunday following inputs from one Rajesh Paul who was arrested for carrying a gun without license earlier.
Bhopal: Huge cache of arms and ammunitions and arrows along with weapon-making gadgets have been recovered in a practising doctor’s house from Raipur in Chhattisgarh taking local police by surprise.
Chhattisgarh police was now probing if the doctor was linked to Maoists’ arms supply network. “We have recovered guns and other weapons from the house of one Aniruddha Chatterjee, a practising homeopathic doctor, in Raipur. We are probing if he has any links to Maoists”, Raipur district additional superintendent of police Vijay Agrawal said on Monday.
