Bengaluru: In a shocking incident, miscreants who were screaming at the top of their voice at a traffic junction late on Sunday night attacked a policeman for questioning them. B. Kumara Swamy (36), a head constable attached to the HSR Layout police station, was injured in the incident. The police identified the accsused as Jayaram K.B., a resident of Mahadevapura, and Pradeep Kumar S. Gouda, a resident of Doddanekkundi. Both the accused work in private companies.
When Kumara Swamy was on night beat with his colleague Basavaraju, he noticed that the miscreants had parked their car at the traffic junction and were screaming. When Kumara Swamy warned them, they abused him and dragged him by the collar. Theydared him to take action against them. The police are investigating the case.
