The incident took place at RS Pendekal in Tuggali mandal on Sunday.

Kurnool: In a tragic incident, an eight-year-old boy was injured when a mobile phone which he was using to play games while it was being charged exploded in his hand Three fingers on the left hand of V. Jagan Achari, a Class 3 student of a private school, were almost severed. The incident took place at RS Pendekal in Tuggali mandal on Sunday.
According to sources, Jagan was playing games on his father’s mobile phone while it was being charged. The phone suddenly heated up and exploded in his left hand. He was rushed to the Pathikonda government hospital from where he was referred to the Kurnool general hospital, his father, Mr V. Maddilety Achari, said. He appealed to parents not to give mobile phones to their children.
