Chennai: India, through its embassy in Doha, has filed an appeal in the Supreme Court of Qatar against the death sentence awarded to two of its nationals belonging to Tamil Nadu.
“Appeal filed in Qatar Supreme Court against death sentence of Sh Subramanian & Chelladurai. Mission helped legal aid,” minister of state for external affairs M.J. Akbar said on Twitter.
