Bengaluru: 11 IPS officers transferred

Singh has now been posted as IGP (Administration), Chief Office, Bengaluru and S. Murugun, IGP, Karnataka Lokayukta, will replace him.

Bengaluru: The State government on Saturday transferred as many as 11 IPS rank officers including IGP and Additional Commissioner of police (Bengaluru East) Seemanth Kumar Singh.

Singh has now been posted as IGP (Administration), Chief Office, Bengaluru and S. Murugun, IGP, Karnataka Lokayukta, will replace him.

Similarly, M.N. Anucheth who was recently transferred and posted at SP, Railways, Bengaluru, has been brought back to the law and order and posted as DCP, Whitefield, as Abdul Ahad, who held this post has been transferred as SP, Anti-Corruption Bureau.

S.N. Siddaramappa has been transferred and posted as DIG, Fire Services, Bengaluru. He was DIG, Internal Security Division, Bengaluru.

Abhinav Khare, SP, Bagalkot, transferred as Commandant, 4th Batallion, KSRP.

Dekka Kishore Babu, SP, Internal Security Division, Bengaluru, has now been posted as SP (L&O), Kalaburagi. Lokesh Bharmappa Jagalasar, SP, Internal Security Division, Bengaluru, has transferred as SP, Bagalkot District.

K.G. Devaraju, SP, Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, Bengaluru, has been transferred and posted as SP, Haveri District, while K. Parashurama who held this post has been transferred and posted as SP, Directorate of Civil Rights Enforcement, Bengaluru.

Dr Sanjeev M. Patil, SP, ACB, has been transferred and posted as SP, Railways, Bengaluru.
