KOCHI: The mega adalat of State Women's Commission held here on Thursday has settled 27 cases. The adalat led by Commission member Lissy Jose considered 95 petitions. During the sitting, 14 cases were sent for police inquiry while five petitions were referred for counselling. RDO's report has been sought on eight petitions. Meanwhile, 41 cases were postponed to the next sitting as the complainants didn't turn up. Most number of cases were related to family disputes and domestic violence, said Ms Jose. Commission director K.U. Kuriakose, advocates Megha Dinesh, John Abraham and Women Cell CI K.M. Leela also attended.
