Hyderabad: Telangana state government Chief Secretary S.K. Joshi has directed all district collectors to take action on all pending SC& ST atrocities cases by June 6 and also to see that the compensation reaches the victims on time.
On Tuesday Mr Joshi held a video conference with collectors and superintendents of police (SPs) on atrocity cases, Rythu Bandhu, Pattadar pass books distribution and state formation day celebrations.
He said that the National SC &ST Commission is specially reviewing these cases and collectors and SPs should review all pending cases and resolve them.
He suggested that collectors form district level vigilance monitoring committees to resolve the pending cases immediately. He said collectors and SPs should visit places where SC and ST atrocities occurred.
