CBSE 10th results 2018: 21 people with disabilites score 95 per cent marks

As many as 135 candidates in the differently-abled category secured 90 per cent and above, while 21 of them secured 95% and above.

Hyderabad: Two candidates from the differently-abled category, Sanya Gandhi from Uttam School in Ghaziabad and Anushka Panda from Suncity, Gurgaon, bagged the first rank. They topped with 489 marks out of 500. Sonya Deep Pradhan from Odisha bagged the second position with 484 marks.

As many as 135 candidates in the differently-abled category secured 90 per cent and above, while 21 of them secured 95% and above. This year 3,760 differently-abled candidates had appeared for the CBSE class X board exams, of which 3,480 students passed.

Thiruvananthapuram recorded the highest pass percentage.

Prakhar Mittal from DPS, Gurugram, Rimzhim Agarwal from RP Public School in Bijnor, Nandini Garg from Scottish International School in Shamli, and Sreelakshmi G. from Bhavan’s Vidyalaya, Cochin scored 499 out of 500 marks and all the four students topped class X with 99.8 per cent.

Girls outshone boys by margin of 3.35 per cent. 88.67 per cent of the girls who appeared for CBSE Class X exam cleared it successfully.
