Hyderabad: A Covid-19 patient at Telangana Institute of Medical Sciences (Tims) on Thursday took to social media to highlight how food was not being served on time for the patients.
The patient, who identified himself as Ramamurthy, also alleged that patients were dying, particularly from among those suffering from diabetes, because they are not getting the required nutrition on time.
While saying that the available doctors and nurses were taking care of the patients, he said the current mess contractor was unable to feed people on time. “If this situation continues, then I am afraid that many more patients will die of starvation,” Ramamurthy said in a WhatsApp message shared with Deccan Chronicle.
