Tribal, Adi Dravida and Anglo-Indian schools do well in Tiruchy district
Tiruchy: Improving upon its previous year results, Tiruchy educational district achieved 96.45 per cent total passes in the 10th standard Government board examinations and stood 13th place in the state in overall pass percentage, according to official sources.
The sources said that there are 35,303 students who appeared in the examination in Tiruchy district of whom 34,051 students have passed and registered 96.45 per cent results this year.
Adidravida welfare schools have registered 92 per cent, while the Anglo Indian schools achieved cent per cent results, corporation schools 98.65 per cent, Government schools 95 per cent, and self-financing matriculation schools have achieved 99.33 per cent, Scheduled tribal schools did well to register cent per cent passes, while Government-aided schools have recorded 95.35 per cent, the sources added.
