Counter for Arjitha Seva ticket and gold coin sale opened at Govindaraja swamy temple

The counter is situated beside Vahana mandapam as it is a place to which devotees can have an easy access.

Tirupati: In view of heavy devotee rush expected during the vacation, the Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), on Monday, inaugurated a new Arjitha Seva ticket issuing counter, outside the premises of Lord Govindaraja Swamy temple, situated in the heart of Tirupati city.

Tirupati JEO B. Lakshmikantham, who inaugurated the new ticketing counter, also opened another counter, where gold and the silver coins will be sold to the devotees.

Speaking on the occasion, the JEO said “Gold coins weighing 10 gm, 5 gm and 2 gm and silver dollars weighing 5 gm, 10 gm and 50 gm, will be sold at the counter run by Syndicate Bank.

The counter is situated beside Vahana mandapam as it is a place to which devotees can have an easy access. The counter will be open from 10.30 am to 6 pm, every day.”

Tickets for arjitha seva, being performed at the main shrine and all the sub-shrines here will also be sold between at the same counter between 5 am and 9 pm, every day, he added. Temple Special Grade DyEO Varalakshmi and others were also present.
