Bengaluru: Maths paper was easy but lengthy, say CET students
Bengaluru: Students appeared for the first day of two-day Common Entrance Test (CET) for biology and mathematics papers on Monday. They felt that the biology paper was easy but had a few confusing questions. The mathematics paper was simple but lengthy.
The biology paper was very easy, provided one had a good hold over the NCERT textbook. 50 questions out of 60 were easy with no misleading answer choices. The other 10 questions had two answers which were confusing. The paper was easier compared to papers from previous years. I’m happy about the checking this year as there was very minimal checking and no frisking,” said Karthik V. from Deeksha, Miranda Composite PU College.
Another student, Anagha Suresh from Deeksha, Miranda Composite PU College, said, “The paper were quite easy with no mistakes or glitches. They were not lengthy and gave me enough time to check my answers.”
Gagan Hegde from Deeksha Centre for Learning, Kanakapura, said, “I found the mathematics paper simple, but the paper was lengthy and I found it difficult to finish the paper in time. There was no frisking or checking, except for our pockets. There was no verification of documents either.”
Vaishnav from Deeksha Centre for Learning, Kanakapura, said, “The mathematics paper was pretty simple with most questions from PU concepts we learned. I felt there was a mistake in the paper today. The level of difficulty this year was similar to that of previous years’. The paper was lengthy and I just had enough time to finish all 60 questions in the paper.”
