Belagavi: A BSF soldier on poll duty died when he fell from the sixth floor corridor of KLE Prabhakar Kore Hospital in Belagavi on Saturday. Shamsingh Shobhan Singh, 42, from Uttar Pradesh, was admitted to the hospital on April 24 after he complained of stomach ache. He fell from the corridor on Saturday morning and died on the spot. The police are investigating if it was an accident or a suicide. Deputy Commissioner of Police Seema Latkar visited the hospital. A case has been registered at the APMC police station. The body was sent to UP in the evening in an aircraft.
