Deputy transport commissioner Mohan took bribe from his staff too

Mohan was apparently not in the habit of sharing his income.

Kakinada: Several employees in the Transport department, transport operators, vehicle owners and others related to the department were happy with deputy transport commissioner A. Mohan’s arrest.

Mohan was apparently not in the habit of sharing his income. It has also been alleged that he would even collect bribes from them for postings and promotions. Previously, Kakinada MLA Vanamadi Venkateswara Rao (Kondababu) had warned Mohan. “I had warned the DTC several times. He used to create hurdles for transport vehicle owners and drivers with his sadistic behavior. I had brought his behavior to the notice of the CM,” Mr Kondababu told DC.
