Kerala woman journalists seek cm intervention

These allegations are adversely affecting women journalists like us in the field.

Thiruvananthapuram: Network of Women In Media India, a group of women in media profession, on Wednesday urged chief minister Pinarayi Vijayan to conduct a judicious investigation into the incident related to former minister A K Saseendran.

In a representation to the chief minister, the women journalist group that his intervention was required to bring out the facts in connection with the allegations against the former minister. "We want to bring to your attention the disgraceful experiences that we are confronting because of the recent incidents. Reports are doing the rounds that woman journalist also has a role in the incident involving Saseendran.

These allegations are adversely affecting women journalists like us in the field. Things have reached such a pass that the profession itself is being defamed.
