Kerala: Mar Ivanios leads in youth fest
Thiruvananthapuram: The delay in starting competitions continued on the third day of the Kerala University on Wednesday.Oppana competition at the Government Women’s College auditorium began at 11 am only though it was slated for 10 am. The competitions lagged till 5 pm.Many venues including the Senate Hall, the main venue where the Kerala Nadanam competition was held witnessed a lack of audience. Only a few people were seen here.However, the auditorium was jam packed till the competitions ended even after the lag. Mar Ivanios College came first.Colleges from the city were at the top positions till 6.20 pm at the end of 38 programmes of the 96 items.The organisers have roped in around 200 pink volunteers from various colleges in the city to ensure safety and security of the female participants.
