Vijayawada: BJP moves AP High Court against AP GOs

He lamented that these biased people will cause huge loss to the AP Government's revenue.

Vijayawada: AP State BJP president Kanna Lakshminarayana has filed a Public Interest Litigation (PIL), seeking action against Telugu Desam led AP State Government for issuing Government Orders (GO) to benefit some people.

Advocate Gosala Srinivas filed a PIL in the AP High Court, seeking CBI inquiry about the issuance of nine GOs, claiming them as biased and illegal. While talking to media persons after filing a PIL, advocate Srinivas said that many GOs were issued to benefit someone, mainly Telugu Desam people, and Lakshminarayana objected to nine GOs recently issued by the TD Government.

He stated that the TD Government issued GOs for allotting lands and advance funds to benefit several companies which were giving the chance to those companies to rob the public’s money.

He lamented that these biased people will cause huge loss to the AP Government’s revenue. Hence, Mr Lakshmina-rayana sought a CBI probe about the issuance of these objectionable GOs. The defending lawyers sought time to give an answer about the GOs. Hence, the High Court postponed the next hearing of the PIL to February 4.
