Hyderabad: Former minister and Sanathnagar MLA T. Srinivas Yadav on Friday said the Congress and the Telugu Desam have no moral right to talk about the welfare of the Backward Classes.
He said that the Congress and the Telugu Desam neglected the Backward Classes so far and now they were criticising the Telangana Rashtra Samiti.
Mr Srinivas Yadav further said that it was the only the TRS government which spent crores of rupees for the welfare of the Backward Classes and it also gave Rajya Sabha seats to two of their leaders.
Criticising AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu indulging in “cheap politics”, the former minister said he would tour Andhra Pradesh in 2019 Lok Sabha elections to campaign against the Telugu Desam.
