Amit Shah promises to begin work on airport

Mr Shah alleged that the ruling party candidate had failed to develop Adilabad town.

ADILABAD: BJP national president Amit Shah on Wednesday said that the BJP will revive the closed Adilabad branch of the Cement Corporation of India (CCI) if they voted to power in the state.

Speaking at a meeting here in Adilabad, Mr Shah said that they will also ensure that the airport comes up in Adilabad town and control the illegal smuggling of teak wood which is on a rise in the Old Adilabad district.

Mr Shah alleged that the ruling party candidate had failed to develop Adilabad town. In addition they had failed to fulfil their promise of initiating work for the airport, for which 350 acres were acquired.

BJP leaders Suhasini Reddy, Paudel, V. Adinath, Dinesh Matolia, Enrala Nagesh, Narayan Reddy and others were present.
