Hyderabad: 2 RTC buses involved in accidents

Police said the driver tried to stop the vehicle by swerving to the side of the road but rammed into the vehicles.

Hyderabad: Two TSRTC bus being driven by temporary drivers were involved in accidents on Monday, sources aid. in the first incident, a bus which was on the way to Jangaon from the JBS bus stand rammed three four-wheelers at Habsiguda after its brakes reportedly failed.

Police said the driver tried to stop the vehicle by swerving to the side of the road but rammed into the vehicles. The driver fled from the spot after the accident.

At Miryalaguda, a bus accidentally drove over the leg of a temporary conductor's leg. The bus was on its way to Dilsukhnagar from Miryalaguda. Police said the driver started the bus even as the conductor was boarding it, and ran over his leg. The passengers handed over the driver to police and shifted the conductor to a hospital.
