He advised them to make it to Hyderabad only in case of medical emergencies or if is an issue of importance. It is common knowledge that Mr Harish Rao makes himself accessible to the people whether he is a minister or not. As a minister, he spends more time in Siddipet.
It so happened that on Diwali, several people from Siddipet came to Hyderabad to greet him. His immediate reaction was: “Today I am in Hyderabad, tomorrow I will be amongst you. When people from Siddipet come to meet me in the capital spending thousands of rupees, it implies that I have failed in discharging my duty. Some of the works you seek may not be possible immediately. That will make me feel guilty”. He posted a video of this on Twitter, which drew immense praise on social media.
