Hyderabad: In view of upcoming Assembly elections, a flag march was conducted in the Old City under the supervision of Commissioner of Police Anjani Kumar, in which 750 police personnel, including Central force and the law and order police, participated.
The flag march started from the Charminar and headed towards Bhavaninagar, Aitbaar chowk, Mirchowk and Darulshifa. Apart from Mr Anjani Kumar IPS, Additional CP of Law and Order D.S. Chauhan IPS, Additional CP Crimes Shikha Goel IPS, DCP South Zone Amber Kishore Jha, DCP Traffic K. Babu Rao, Additional DCP of Commissioner’s Task Force S. Chaitanya Kumar, Additional DCP South Zone Rafeeq and ACP Charminar Anjaiah, ACP Santoshnagar Shivram Sharma, ACP Mirchowk B. Anand and ACP Falaknuma Rasheed took part in the flag march.
The flag march was conducted to create a sense of confidence among the public, said Mr Anjani Kumar.
