Former TD MP Nama threatens to make woman's private pictures public
Hyderabad: Former TD MP Nama Nageshwara Rao was booked on Saturday for threatening a woman that he would make public her private pictures. The woman, Sujatha Ramakrishnan, who is a friend of the former MP, lodged a complaint with Jubilee Hills police on August 10, but the case was registered on October 25.
Mr Nageshwar Rao’s brother Nama Seetaiah had filed a complaint two days later against Ms Ramakrishnan stating that she was threatening them. That case was registered at the Jubilee Hills police station on September 11.
Ms Ramakrishnan said she knew the former MP since February 2013, through a common friend and had met him on different occasions. She claimed that Mr Nageshwar Rao had visited her home in Jubilee Hills. The TD leader, however, said he never threatened anyone.
