Yadavas to float political party

A Ratha Yatra would be taken out in the April-May months next year to canvas support for the new party, Borige Anandaiah said

KAKINADA: Borige Anandaiah of Krishnapatnam in Nellore district, whose Ayurvedic medicine for Covid19 brought him into the limelight, announced on Tuesday that a political party would be floated by Yadavas with the help of other BCs and downtrodden sections in the state.

He said the All India Yadava Maha Sabha would float the party to help improve the living conditions of these people and enjoy political power. Many Covid patients got cured by his Ayurvedic medicine, he claimed.

The state Yadava Sangham meeting was held at Rajamahendravaram on Tuesday, which was presided over by Srikrishna Yadava Sankshema Sangham Greater Rajamahendravaram President Ravi Yadav. Participating as chief guest in the meeting, Anandaiah said the government should take responsibility for saving the lives of Covid19 patients.

He said his medicine was very effective, However, when he appealed to the government for permission to distribute the medicine across the state, the government refused to give its nod. A Ratha Yatra would be taken out in the April-May months next year to canvas support for the new party, he said.

Yadava Sangam state president Laka Vengala Rao said 15 to 20 industrialists have promised their support for the floating of the new party. Both the governments at the Centre and in the states are neglecting the Yadavas politically, economically, socially and education-wise, he said.

He said there existed 25 crore Yadavas in the country, of which 70 lakh are in Andhra Pradesh. The Yadava community is not able to get their due share in political posts as per the population. The present government could fill only a few posts with Yadavas. He said Yadavas should be given one Rajya Sabha member post and two minister posts.

He said that in recent ZP chairman post elections or selections, not a single Yadava community leader was included. Though a Yadava Corporation was established, no fund was given to it. “A Ratha Yatra would be taken out next year to achieve our demands.”

Yadava Sangham national vice president Anna Ramachandrarao Yadav said no statistical study was ever held on BC Population in the country, He said the reservations for BCs should be provided in the private sector too. The Sangham’s East Godavari president Kundala Sailkumar Yadav, as also Padala Nagaraju Yadav and representatives from all the 13 districts participated in the meeting.
