NEP RSS plot to hurt SCs, BCs: V Hanumantha Rao
Hyderabad: AICC secretary and former MP V. Hanumantha Rao on Wednesday alleged that there was a big conspiracy in the new education policy of the Central government.
Speaking to the media here, he said that the new education policy was designed by the RSS.
Mr Rao said injustice will be done to SC, ST and BC students with the new education policy. He added that it was not right that children should go to schools at the age of three. He said that RSS chief Mohan Bhagwat was asked to review the reservations and there will be a conspiracy in the removal of the reservations.
Mr Rao said that the Central government and University Grants Commission (UGC) were being unjust to Telugu research students. He said that Osmania University had got only seven fellowships. He asked why BJP and ABVP were not raising their voice on this.
The former MP said that the Central government has stopped Rajiv Gandhi Fellowship for the last three years and now even the name Rajiv Gandhi name was removed from the fellowship title. Mr Rao said that the Congress will support the dharna of research students on August 30, protesting against the injustice meted out to fellowship seekers.
