Hyderabad: The city is a hub for candidates preparing for various examinations, both education entrance examinations and competitive examinations for jobs. The presence of extraordinary teachers and a competitive environment, which supports peer learning, is one of the reasons for this.
Over 65 lakh students have registered for various job based competitive examinations, including State Bank of India Probationary Officer (PO), Staff Selection Commission-Combined Graduate Level Examination (SSC-CGL), Institute of Banking Personnel Selection (IBPS), and Railway Recruitment Board (RRB) examinations, according to the report of a survey conducted by Adda 247, a preparation platform for government exams.
Students here get coaching in all the price ranges for all the courses, starting from civil services, banking to software jobs and university seats. “There are extraordinary teachers, who are directly working in these fields in the city to teach the aspirants the necessary tricks that they need to crack competitive exams.
Apart from that, a competitive environment is created here which gives place to peer learning. And any aspirant would know their position in terms of preparation and can improve further and they can keep themselves updated with the latest trends,” said Mr Shrinivas Acharya, principal director of a management institute.
Ameerpet is a mini hub in the city where one can find all kinds of coaching institutes in affordable price ranges. Mr Vikas Kanumuri is being coached for a seat in the Master of Science programme in a premier university. He said that his outlook has changed after coming to the city. It has helped him know his level of preparation and what was missing in his previous attempt.
When it comes to cracking the toughest entrance exams, such as the IIT-JEE, AIIMS, and Eamcet, the city has the highest number of branches of all the corporate colleges, be it Sri Chaitanya, Narayana, Fiitjee and others.
A teacher from a corporate education institute said, “We have the highest number of branches in Hyderabad in the two Telugu states. Students from across various districts prefer to join residential campuses here. We also have the best part time faculty who often visit from other states and the process becomes easy with the presence of the airport.”...
