Having heard about these special locks from my father, I wanted to buy one during our visit to the place for a wedding a few months ago. I reached the market area and eagerly looked around for shops selling Dindigul pootus. But none of them had it. After making enquires with several vendors and shopkeepers, I finally found a shop which exclusively deals with these locks. The shop was fairly big and some customers were checking out the various kinds of locks available there. The locks were of different sizes and shapes and all of them had a unique code. I bought a couple of them.
“Smart/electronic door locks may be popular now, but nothing can beat Dindigul pootu when it comes to safety,” said a customer, as a parting message, while I paid the bill at the counter.
