Hyderabad: Former Union Minister S. Jaipal Reddy said that if early elections are held to the state Assembly, it will ensure early defeat of the TRS. He said the Congress party would come to power after the elections. Speaking to media on Tuesday at Delhi, he said the Congress welcomed early elections to Telangana Assembly and the party was sure that Mr Rao would meet the same fate as faced by AP Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu in the past.
He said that despite the differences among some party leaders, the state unit would work according to the high commands directions to bring the party into power. He said the party's Chief Minister candidate would be decided by the high command after the elections. Mr Reddy said the TRS government wants early elections due to growing dissatisfaction among the people about its rule.
