Hyderabad: Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation commissioner M. Dana Kishore on Tuesday told the media on Tuesday that the civic body would complete a double bedroom housing project for the urban poor and Strategic Road Development Plan projects on war footing.
Apart from this, the corporation commissioner has also promised to make maintenance of roads and sanitation in the city the administration’s priority. He also warned officials of stringent action if found indulging in irregularities activities.
Mr Dana Kishore said that the corporation had already seen an improvement in citizen services and the grievance redressal system.
He assured that civic issues would be sorted out by upgrading the MYGHMC app. GHMC commissioner said that the average segregation of waste is high when compared to other municipal corporations in the country.
Mr Kishore also said that the corporation would increase the number of dumpyards and would also remove encroachments on nalas and lakes in a phased manner.
