165 positive cases of swine flu reported in Telangana since Aug 1: govt

It said in a bulletin that 945 samples were tested since August 1 (and till August 28).
Five new cases of swine flu were confirmed on Monday of which two are undergoing treatment at Gandhi Hospital.
Hyderabad: The Telangana government on Tuesday said 165 positive cases of swine flu have been reported in the state since the beginning of this month.
It said in a bulletin that 945 samples were tested since August 1 (and till August 28). Of these, 165 samples were found to be positive for the H1N1 virus.
No death had been reported during the period, it said.
The bulletin said 17 positive cases of swine flu were found among the 84 samples tested on Monday.
Medicines and testing kits are available in sufficient stocks in hospitals at different levels in the state, the bulletin added.
