Vijayawada MP endorses Pawan Kalyan's statements
Kesineni says nothing wrong in Pawan calling him a rich MP.

Vijayawada: Janasena chief Pawan Kalyan remarks on Telugu Desam ministers and MPs became a point of discussion among TD circles in the capital region.
Vijayawada MP Kesineni Srinivas reacted in a very positive way to the remarks made by Pawan in Tirupati public meeting held on Saturday. In fact, Pawan, made a mention about the presence of rich MPs and ministers in the Telugu Desam.
He has urged the Modi government to look at the poor people of the four crores population of the state, and not at the richest MPs like Kesineni Srinivas, Avanti Srinivas, Murali Mohan and minister P. Narayana. His critical remarks have prompted the Telugu Desam leaders to react.
However, following the directions from Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu, the TD leaders have chosen a soft-pedalled path towards Pawan and accordingly, Mr Srinivas has taken the words of Pawan in a positive spirit. He said that he found no fault in Pawan’s way of addressing.
“I don’t find anything wrong in Pawan’s statement,” Mr Srinivas said, and added that Pawan has clearly distinguished the difference between the rich and poor of the state. Accordingly, Pawan has conveyed a message to the Centre that Andhra Pradesh has large chunk of poor people. Mr Srinivas said that he did not find anything wrong in Pawan mentioning about richest MPs and ministers of the Telugu Desam. “Pawan did not mentioned us in a wrong way. He did not compare us with any of the corrupt politicians. Being rich is not an offence,” Mr Srinivas said.
Meanwhile, YSRC general secretary P. Gowtham Reddy seconded the remarks made by Pawan over the Chief Minister.
“Pawan has asked as to why the Chief Minister kept quiet over the special status, which the Congress and the opposition has been asking since a long time,” Mr Gowtham added.
PCC general secretary has asked the Chief Minister to go for a CBI inquiry on all capital related corrupt activities apart from the vote-note case. The Janasena chief also expressed doubt over Chief Minister’s inaction in approaching the Centre on the special status, he said.
