Suspended BJP Leader Jitta Slams Kishan Reddy, Set to Join Congress

Hyderabad: Jitta Balakrishna Reddy, the BJP leader from Yadadri Bhongir district who was suspended on Wednesday on grounds of indiscipline, on Saturday called state BJP president G. Kishan Reddy a ‘weak leader’ who could not do anything for the party during his previous terms at the job.

Speaking to reporters, Balakrishna Reddy, who is expected to join the Congress, also said the BJP’s national leadership’s decision to remove Bandi Sanjay Kumar as state party president was bad. “All that Kishan Reddy can do is to weaken the party,” he said.

Balakrishna Reddy questioned his suspension, and said party MLAs Etala Rajendar and M. Raghunandan Rao too had indulged in anti-party activities. “No action was taken against them but I have been targeted,” Balakrishna Reddy said.
