SRINAGAR: Even though the official sources are yet to clarify that reports saying Pakistan-based groups are planning to carry out “a major terrorist attack” in Kashmir prompted the government to rush additional troops to the Valley, National Conference leader Omar Abdullah on Sunday said that it were the official orders that are creating fear psychosis among the locals.
He tweeted, “It’s easy to blame Valley residents for fear-mongering but what are we to make of such official orders which forecast a deterioration in the law & order environment and even predict disturbances lasting for an extended period of time? Why is the govt silent?”
