Hyderabad: Police spring into action in kidnapping case

According to the cops, the accused, one Ravi Shankar of AP, is an old offender.

Hyderabad: Six days after a 21-year-old girl was kidnapped from the city, the Hayathnagar police of Rachakonda commissionerate issued a look out notice as well as announced cash reward to locate her.

According to the cops, the accused, one Ravi Shankar of AP, is an old offender. The complaint, E. Yadaiah, 43, runs a hotel at Bongulur Gate under Ibrahimpatnam limits.

On Wednesday at around 7.15 am, the stranger went to the hotel in a car (AP39AQ1686). After enquiring the family details of Yadaiah, the stranger claiming to be a surgeon at OGH told Yadaiah that his parents work as judges in the city and has influence.

Yadaiah told the stranger that his daughter, E. Soni, is pursuing B.Pharma at a private college in Kothagudem, and his son David is an intermediate student.

After taking them for a tour for some time, the stranger dropped David at LB Nagar X roads and then took Yadaiah and Soni towards the city and took near Assembly Secretariat, Necklace Road area till late in the night.

At around 8.50 pm, he took them to Hayathnagar and stopped near the bus stop and asked Yadaiah to get a print of a paper in the details of Soni was written. As soon Yadaiah got down of the car, the stranger fled.
