Hyderabad: The ongoing row between Agri Gold Group and the TS Agri Gold Customers and Agents Welfare Association took a new turn at the High Court on Friday.
P. Sri Raghuram, senior counsel, submitted that a “big company” was interested in taking over the company and would take care of the repayments.
He said the court company had employed Deloitte to do due diligence. He said it was too early to name the company, and asked the court for some time before finalising the auction bids for its properties.
He made the arguments before a division bench comprising Justice V. Ramasubramanian and Justice S.V. Bhatt hearing a PIL seeking a CBI probe into the multi-crore fraud and seeking expedited repayments to the depositors.
