Hyderabad: JAC protest over SI test result delay

Around 32,000 aspirants have appeared for the exam and they are not aware of the cut off marks for the examination.

Hyderabad: The unemployed Joint Action Committee (JAC) held a sit-up protest against the delay in declaring SI test results on Friday at the OU Arts College. The JAC alleged that the TS SI recruitment started 18 months ago but still there is no clarity. AP completed its recruitment in six months.

Around 32,000 aspirants have appeared for the exam and they are not aware of the cut off marks for the examination. Aspirants allege that most of them are from rural areas and they had resigned their jobs to prepare for the SI recruitment. As the results are delayed they are finding it difficult due to unemployment.

Koturi Manvatha Roy, chairman, Unemployed JAC said, "The SI aspirants of AP are starting their training but Telangana has failed to announce the results. We demand a clear explanation on why SI recruitment is being delayed''.
