The University Grants Commission has released the list of more than 2,000 Massive Open Online Courses.

Chennai: The University Grants Commission has released the list of more than 2,000 Massive Open Online Courses (MOOC). From aircraft modelling to Spanish language all these courses will be hosted at Study Webs of Active-Learning for Young Aspiring Minds (Sawayam), an IT platform to provide quality education to students. The courses will cover various subjects from class 9 to post-graduation level. In a circular to all vice-chancellors, UGC has asked them to pursue the list of MOOC. The Swayam portal is likely to be launched on August 15.
