Hyderabad: A smart grid pilot project costing Rs 41.82 crore has been sanctioned for Jeedimetla Industrial area by the Union ministry of power. This grid is meant to ensure 24x7 power supply to the consumers of Telangana State Southern Power Distribution Company Limited.
Mr G. Raghuma Reddy, CMD of Southern Power Distribution Company of Telangana Limited said, “A total of 8,800 single phase smart meters, 44 11 KV feeders, ring main units and fault passage indicators are going to be set up.”
