Bescom signs MoU with Tata Power to improve supply
Bengaluru: As frequent power cuts have left Bengalureans fuming, Bescom is trying different means to ensure that consumers are not affected. For an efficient power supply system, the power supply company has signed an MoU with Tata Power Delhi Distribution Ltd, a power distribution utility of New Delhi.
A senior Bescom officer said that they are constantly looking at ways to improve their service, maintain customer satisfaction, meet the needs of the consumers and stay in the race with the latest developments and technology.
Bescom is planning to implement latest technologies in its distribution system to provide reliable and quality power to consumers at an affordable cost.
An official note mentioned that the MoU will help Bescom improve by exchanging intellectual resources with DDL. It will help in using the best practises in power distribution, use of latest technologies, improve operational efficiency, hands on training (HoT) on various operation and maintenance activity and many more features.
The senior officer said that they are trying to reach out to best power-related organisations in the country to ensure that they learn from them, which would help in maintaining the supply standards and to ensure that consumers are
not affected.
